Porsche Heritage Design. Applied to design at Porsche, this means that there is no future without a past. With every new model, it is important to maintain the connection to the past. In every new model there is something 356 and 911. Each new model borrows from the multi-layered history of our brand. Sometimes it’s just nuances – and yet they shape the character and overall impression of each new design.

With the Heritage Design Strategy, Porsche is now pursuing this path even more consistently, even more emotionally, even more customer-oriented. Porsche brings back the most popular design elements, colors and materials of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s of the Porsche brand. Deliberately not 1:1, but put together and reinterpreted by its designers with great attention to detail, so that they perfectly underline – and complement – the timelessly modern character of the 911.
Each era of Porsche history is exclusively staged by a limited collector’s model. In addition, the Heritage Design strategy achieves great accessibility of the theme through equipment packages that will also be available for many other 911 models.
“With the Heritage Design models, we evoke memories of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s for customers and fans. No other brand can translate these elements into the modern age as well as Porsche, thus fulfilling the wishes of our customers. In addition, with the exclusive special models, we are establishing a new product line that stands for the ‘lifestyle’ dimension within our product strategy.”
says Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG.
