The fragrance was created by master perfumer Alienor Massenet, a liberated and iconoclastic perfumer whose independent and creative spirit can be felt in every aspect of the composition. Bentley BECOME reveals its identity through an addictive blend of bold ingredients, creating an uplifting, inspiring and empowering fragrance experience.
Alienor Massenet, Head Perfumer, explains: “Inspired by the beauty and magic of nature, I wanted to create a fragrance that awakens the senses and evokes the feeling of being truly alive and powerful. Whether it’s the majesty of the trees or the tranquillity of the water, these natural elements reconnect us with reality and allow us to fully embrace the world around us. For this fragrance, I wanted to honour the peaceful yet powerful essence of nature by using high quality ingredients. BECOME is both invigorating, with fresh black pepper and juniper berries, and warm and calming, thanks to the richness of myrrh absolute and Madagascar patchouli essence. These spicy, balsamic and woody notes paint marvellous landscapes and transport us olfactorily to the heart of the earth.
The creation opens with an overwhelming citrus burst of sweet orange and bergamot, instantly evoking a sense of boundless freshness and vibrant possibility. An invigorating hint of black pepper oil from Madagascar adds a bold, spicy note to the fragrance and ignites the spirit of adventure within.
As it progresses, the fragrance warms and deepens with green, spicy notes of juniper berries that blend seamlessly with the rich, woody embrace of myrrh absolute. It then reveals its enigmatic and captivating character by combining the earthy richness of Virginian Cedarwood with the creamy sophistication of Santal Album. This intriguing combination is enhanced by the grounding essence of vetiver and the exotic allure of patchouli, creating a fragrance that is both enduring and boldly forward-looking.

Through this inspiring collaboration, the composition of Bentley BECOME utilises cutting-edge innovations and artisanal plants and flowers from Symrise’s Maison Lautier in Grasse. The result is a fragrance that has outstanding sustainability credentials with 70.81 per cent renewable carbon and 46.97 per cent recycled materials.

The 100% recyclable aluminium cap and the striking, biodegradable green colour gradient create a striking visual impact. The name of the fragrance, which is hot-stamped on the bottle, gives it a special presence. This elegant design is reflected in the recyclable, FSC-certified packaging.
