Unique architecture and interior design
The new location at Kosttor 2 impresses with its gallery character. Muff displays a curated selection of his exhibits from four decades of work, new pieces of jewellery as well as custom-made products. The five metre high ceilings give the studio a spacious atmosphere and create room for creative development. In the showroom, customers can discover Patrik Muff’s handmade jewellery in an artistic display of showcases. A separate zone for exclusive consultations and individual customer requests complements the sales area. The office, where the creative processes, especially customised designs, are coordinated, connects the showroom with the adjoining workshop. The workshop is the heartbeat of the studio, where the handmade pieces of jewellery are created. This is where Patrik Muff gives the exhibits their unmistakable signature at his workstation, which is magnificently decorated with countless skulls. The spacious floor plan offers plenty of room for Muff’s team of master craftsmen and goldsmiths.

A touch of magic and mysticism
The sensitively staged architecture of the studio at Kosttor 2 combines tradition and modernity. Old display cabinets in the counter area quote historical elements, while the new object cabinets with museum-like lighting present the jewellery in a special light. The Wunderkammer area invites you to be inspired by the symbolism of the pieces.

Patrik Muff: Handmade jewellery for individualists
Muff’s constantly growing archive of shapes comprises a collection of around two thousand models. Influences from nature, distant ethnicities and cultural eras are combined with Muff’s unmistakable design language. Muff creates statement pieces full of character, always with a twist between antiquity and modernity. Every single item expresses the individuality of the wearer with the highest standards and lends them strength and elegance.

In addition to symbolism, craftsmanship is a central element of his work. Each piece is made by hand – by Patrik Muff himself in collaboration with his team from the various trades, all of whom are masters of their craft.

A place for authentic self-expression
Patrik Muff’s studio at Kosttor 2 is the only place in the world where his pieces are available. Here, customers from all over the world can not only buy Muff jewellery, but also experience it. The atmosphere in the studio reflects the undertone of the magical, archaic and mystical.

Interview with designer and artist Patrik Muff
Your jewellery studio recently moved to Kosttor 2 in Munich. Can you tell us more about it?
Patrik Muff: “Of course! I’m delighted to be here. Yes, my studio has recently changed location. The new address, Kosttor 2, is right in the centre of Munich in the Graggenau district. This neighbourhood has a long tradition of craftsmanship dating back to the Middle Ages. It is a place where craftsmen were already practising their art back then. It is therefore a meaningful place for me to present my handmade jewellery.”
How would you describe the atmosphere in your new studio?
Patrik Muff: “The studio has a special atmosphere that suits my brand perfectly. Here I can present my jewellery in an authentic way and appeal to people who see jewellery not just as an accessory, but as an expression of their personality. It is a place where people can be inspired and not only buy individual jewellery, but also experience it. “When you come to Munich, bring me something from Muff” – that’s a phrase I often hear from my customers. Because jewellery is far more than just an accessory – it tells stories and reflects our soul. That’s why a piece of jewellery from Muff accompanies you for a lifetime.”
