Hongqi is one of the historic brands in China. This year, the Hongqi Guoya was presented to the public for the first time. The splendid vehicle front shows the characteristic design of Hongqi and conveys a touch of elegant luxury. Inside the vehicle, the Alcantara interior is extensively finished in beige, which looks graceful and perfectly complements the exterior colour of the vehicle.
In addition to the Guoya, Hongqi also presented the Guoyao this time, which is characterised by an attractive and impressive appearance. The Guoyao version, which Hongqi unveiled at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, features an Alcantara interior that covers a large area of the vehicle’s interior, providing a fantastic and poetic experience. The customised Alcantara material covers the headliner, interior pillars and door panels. Fine stitching in silver, gold and black tones creates a Milky Way scene on the headlining with diamond-like decoration. On the front of the two door panels, the stitching outlines the contours of a horse against a grey Alcantara background.
BMW once again showcased the outstanding performance and quality of its vehicles. Both the BMW X5 and the BMW X7 use delicately textured Alcantara material, which creates an elegant and refined classic vehicle interior. In the BMW XM model, the headliner and interior pillars are covered in Alcantara. The exquisite pattern has an aesthetic, three-dimensional gradient effect with different shades of blue and creates a design and artistic ambience in the seating area with irregular geometric patterns. Alcantara materials in purple and brown colours are used all around, rounding off the luxurious overall appearance of the vehicle and demonstrating the extreme adaptability of Alcantara.
As one of the largest car companies, Geely immediately responded to the electric vehicle market and presented the new Zeekr 009 for 2024 at the Beijing Auto Show. The model was already launched in January this year and represents a newer version of the premium electric vehicle. This all-electric MPV is characterised by an aesthetic look and embodies a new expression of luxury, which is perfectly accentuated by the bespoke and fine Alcantara material on the vehicle’s door trim.
Another eye-catcher is the 2024 Zeekr 001 FR, whose classic style is complemented by coupé lines and impresses with its dynamic, sporty exterior. The car’s seats are upholstered in the bespoke material Alcantara in grey, with contrasting stitching in red creating an extremely sporty feel and aesthetic. The dynamic colour scheme of red and grey is also found in the vehicle’s door panels, highlighting the combination of high-end quality.
Also unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show was the Lotus Chapman Bespoke Service and the Lotus Chapman Bespoke version. This showcases the extremely personalised services with ultimate luxury and high-end offerings. Lotus shares the same values in terms of high customisation and luxurious design as well as artful and delicate craftsmanship. In this way, they inspire each other to create exceptional journeys and driving experiences. As the first global special model in the Lifestyle Car Collection, the Emeya has been fitted with an Alcantara steering wheel in a soft grey. In addition, the Alcantara headlining and interior pillars are perfectly matched to the overall colour scheme of the vehicle, creating a harmonious, artistic atmosphere.
As a representative of top South Korean automobiles Hyundai presented its N Performance collection. The new Elantra N 2024 features a redesigned aesthetic thanks to the extensive Alcantara interior trim. The interior of the vehicle features grey accents that complement the light blue exterior. A steering wheel covered in Alcantara ensures perfect grip, ideal for racing. The seats are also upholstered in Alcantara. Three sleek lines convey a sense of dynamism and harmonise with the structured grey and blue capital letters “N”. Alcantara is durable and breathable, offering the ultimate driving experience in keeping with Hyundai’s racing heritage.
Bentley brought the Mulliner Batur to China for its debut. As Bentley’s first electric vehicle, it is entirely handcrafted and presents Bentley’s completely new design language, which reinterprets the essence of older models in a more concise form.
