For the 44th time, Leica Camera AG is honouring outstanding photographers with the internationally renowned Photography Award. The winners will be announced on October 10, 2024 at a big celebration at the Leica headquarters in Wetzlar. Until then, the series of all finalists will be presented on the LOBA website.

The shortlist was selected on the basis of the proposals submitted by around 80 photography expertsfrom the international photography scene from around 50 countries, from which this year’s jury determined the LOBA Shortlist 2024 and the winnersin the main and newcomer categories.

Following the award ceremony in October, all LOBA series will be presented at the Ernst Leitz Museum in a large exhibition – courtesy of WhiteWall – and in an accompanying extensive catalogue. After the exhibition in Wetzlar, the LOBA 2024 will be shown in other Leica galleries and at photo festivals worldwide.

About the Leica Oskar Barnack Award (LOBA)
